Princess Princess D 1

Okay, this is first live action show that I actually liked. Not that I have seen many, but they are usually filled with awful acting and because of that dull characters. Can't really say that the whole cast was that impressive, but I liked Kaoru as a lunatic cloth designer. He managed to act faithfully to his anime character and was definitely the funniest character there.

One wtf moment was when I saw those princesses clothes. I mean, who the hell designed that ugly dress? I certainly hope that they won't use same one later. Still, first episode had enjoyable comedy and I was bit surprised how well the jokes got through translation from anime version since (obviously) Princess Princess can't use SD faces here.

Few next episodes after this were disappointing so can't really recommend. I too expected more, but I guess I can't get everything.

I was hoping they would stick to the series line, I dont think I like the idea of these fake princesses.

The only character I thought was really off was President Arisada. He doesnt have that same scheming look that he does in the series.

I also thought it was funny that Kikumaru Eiji is playing Sakamoto-sama.

I just finished watching the whole live action series of Princess Princess D and have to say that the anime is MUCH, MUCH better! There is false advertising in the opening of the live action, because they show a shounen-ai kiss, which never actually happens in any of the episodes. Sorry if I spoiled it for anyone, but if that teaser kiss in the opening is what you watched the whole series for, don't bother. So disappointing!!! By the way, I loved the live action version of Sailor Moon! Zoisite and Kunzite are sooo hot! And I love Ami-chan and Usagi-chan! Yaaay! I definitely recommend watching that. ^^

Ah, so it didn't get better later. First live action I looked forward and they have to screw it up...

I watched only 3 episodes so hard to say. Maybe those who finished the series can answer to that?

omg the false kiss was totally the reason i'm patient enough to sit through the show.

still have 2 ep. to go, but there's plenty of innuendos already. wrestleling in the shower? eating bananas? wtf?

I thought their lolita dresses were cute. The drama was kind of awkward at first but the more I watched it the more the more I liked it. It seems so funny and cute. Not to mention I can't resist Mori-chan's nyas~! soo cute >w<

By the way I thought it is still on going?

Ah, the dresses were okay (I wish they had different ones though~)

the only thing I didn't like was the HATS.

wtheck is up with those hats? Mikoto's headdress was cute-ish, and Tooru's was okay, but Shihoudani did NOT pull that double-headdressthing off. AT ALL.

argh.

but overall, yeah, cute. I love how it's more BL than the anime-- but at the same time... i miss the odd-colored hair. LOLZ.

Sakamoto was not cute. But Arisada sure was!!!
